Party Planning Tips

One month before

  • Set the date, time and place for the party
  • Decide on your theme. We have a number of themed inflatables for your event.
  • Determine your budget, then estimate the cost of everything you would like to include to be sure your ideas fit within your budget.
  • Brainstorm ideads to make your event special. Many times small touches like adding an inflatable moonwalk, game or slide will be the hit of the party.

3 weeks before

  • Order your inflatable, tables, chairs and other items that you'll need to have. (Click here to get started)
  • Mail or email invitations
  • Order plates, napkins and other decorations.

2 weeks before

  • Creat or order place cards
  • Plan your menu. Work with a local caterer or order food though a local store. If you plan on making the food items yourself, now is the time to build your grocery list.
  • If you are making your own food, draft a timeline for preparing each dish. This will take stress off of you on party day as you can follow your established timeline.

1 week before

  • Follow up with any guests who haven't RSVP'd.
  • Stock up on your drinks. Soda, water, juice boxes and adult beverages (if you choose).
  • Create your music playlist.

2 days before

  • Buy your groceriesand any party items you've not ordered previously.
  • Create seaating arrangements
  • If you are using glassware, serving pieces, flatware or silverware that is not plastic or paper, today is the day to wash those items.

The day before

  • If you are making your own food, prepare andy sauces that can be refrigerated. Prep and chop fruits and vegetables. Wash salad greens and put all in the refrigerator.
  • Pick up flowers and arrange them to fit your needs.
  • Inform neighbors if cars will be parked on the street in front of their houses.

Morning of

  • Chill drinks
  • If you are preparing your own food, begin executing the timeline you set up.
  • Receive delivery of rental items
  • Set tables
  • Place chairs
  • Check the guest bathroom to be sure it clean and has plenty of necessary items. Take out the trash.

2 hours before

  • Set out serving pieces
  • Prepare party favors.
  • Finish preparing all food that can be done before your guests arrive.
  • Have trash cans and extra garbage bags ready.

1 hour before

  • Turn on music playlist
  • Set out snacks
  • Get dressed and prepare to receive guests.


  • Pull food dishes out and place in areas you've designated.
  • Enjoy your party!
